| Wow, I haven't updated in a long time. What does that mean? I'm going
to have to ramble on and on and on and on and on and on and on about
everything that's been happening to me like I'm the energizer bunny ^^
Okay, first off OMFG!!! Ya'll remember how Addie is the queen of
procrastination? As in, she starts an essay worth probably about 10% of
our grade at midnight the day it's due and finishes it at 3:00 A.M.
and gets a better grade on it than anyone else in the class? (P.S. I
hate you fot that Addie) Well...I GOT A BETTER GRADE THAN HER ON OUR
LAST ESSAY!!! Normally we have to do rewrites when we get them back,
but since the teacher kept them for a couple of months he said that
anyone with 120/150 + didn't have to do rewrites and we'd just get the
extra points automatically. I thought 'No effing way did I get 120.
Maybe 90-something, but...'
I got it back and looked at the score on the bottom...before I could
stop myself I gasped (audibly) and yelled out "Oh my god!" earning a
few stares. But I didn't care! I GOT A 123!!! Addie only got 120 ^^ Loser! I rubbed it in her face the rest of the day and all of the next day cuz I'm a good friend like that.
Okay, moving on. Spring break is over and it sucks. It was good because
it came later than it usually does during the year so we have less time
between when it ends and when summer starts. it sucks because for the
rest of the year we hardly have any days off or weird schedules or
anything. It used to be that every week we had a late start or a
minimum day or a day off or something. Now we just have memorial day and the last three days before school's over are minimum days.
I started taking guitar lessons a few weeks ago and apparently I have a
talent for music. The teacher said I have a real sound for it and that
we're going through the lessons really quickly and I'm really good
(hey, I ain't complainin'). Right now I'm learning chords and we're
going into arpeggios soon.
Anime! Okay, believe it or not, the first piece of pocky I have ever
had was two weeks ago. In case you don't know what pocky is it's a
Japanese chocolate covered buscuit stick snack and it's mandatory for
all true anime lovers. Of course I've always wanted to try some but I
didn't know where they were sold and I'm too lazy to search on the web.
I met my friend's friend and she is also an anime freak so we instantly
clicked when we started having a conversation about it, and she had
pocky! It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO
good! Now I must find some! I will destroy all who get in my
way!!!!!!!! MWA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm calm...
I have now figured out which animes I like best: Card Captor Sakura, One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Fushigi Yuugi, Yu Yu Hakusho (Jin is so cute ^^), and Naruto. Those are my all time favorite animes that I have ever seen.
I have a movie review now for one of the wonderful movies I've seen.
Catwoman:
This movie rocked! Halle Berry was perfect as catwoman! The costumes
and special effects (all of her "cattish" moments and the moment she
recieves the gift of becoming Catwoman) were especially well done. I
don't know why this movie got such bad reviews, it was great! People
have no taste anymore, it's all about the cartoons and rated Rs.
Nothing in between.
Also, have you noticed how every single one of the cartoon animal movies (other than Ice Age 2...which also rocked) that have come out recently have been practically the exact same thing? Madagascar: Animated film in which animals escape from a zoo in new York and try to get to the wild and survive there. The Wild: Animated film in which animals escape from a zoo to find a lion cub and survive (so basically it's Madagascar combined with Two Brothers). Now Over the Hedge is coming out: Animated film in which animals have to survive in a suburb with humans in their homes.
Now granted, the plots are good, but they get tired after a while don't
you think? Come on people, have some originality! What, you can't come
up with anything new so you say "Hey, this movie made lots of money,
let's take that idea and change it around a bit so we'll make lots of
money"? Let me tell you somethin': If people are bored with what you're
showing, you're not going to make any money! You might as well try something new anyway!

| WINTER BREAK!!!! YEAH!!!!! OMFG! Okay, the last week and a half (I repeat - and a half) the teachers give out SO MUCH EFFING STUFF to do! I had three projects due, five tests, and an infinite amount of homework! I spent the last couple days getting the sleep I've been deprived of as I am part of the royal court of procrastination (not the queen mind you - that title belongs to Addie).
Wow, so I've noticed how I always tend to start off my post complaining about school...
So now I'm spending today on my comp, harassing my friends, checking my e-mail, cecking on the RP sites I'm with (I'm a nerd and I lvoe it :P), and reading so much fanfiction.
Also, I'm ripping music onto my MP3 player that my friends made mixed CD's of on their computers (my friends are 55% of the music I listen to). It features lovely bands like "3 Doors Down", "Reliant K", "Bon Jovi" (YA!!! Rock on!) and other of the greatest bands of all time ^^.
So on Friday, other than the two tests I had which pretty much ruined everything, I had a GREAT day! Me and my friends were exchanging holiday presents all day long! It was great *reminisce*. At lunch we were all sitting on the hill, surrounded by toys, candy, and TONS of wrapping paper! It truly felt like Christmas, lol ^.^
So recently I have been getting back into "Dragon Ball Z". I'm not sure why. I just watched the episode on Toonami on Saturday night and went 'Wow, this is really awsome!". Especially uncut, cuz you get to see all the blood and gore (cue everyone backing away slowly). So for a while I will be slightly obssessed with DBZ, how long it will last, nobody knows.

| Heyo peoples! Okay, school still sucks, but honestly, what did you expect? But you know, I've taken a very zen attitude to the craziness. How? By admitting defeat. Really, it's amazing how calm and relaxed you become once you just say to yourself "Okay, I give up." there's just this sort of rush of a feeling that is not stress that is so wonderful and makes you smile and go "yup, I'm failing. and you know what? I don't care."
Now, Addie still has to give me the Reliant K CD she burned for me from over A MONTH AGO, but hey, i'll just put it on my mp3 player next time i go to her house. i am slowly but steadily building up my forces of awsome rock and/or alternative, with some other genres in the mix, and soon we will be all powerful! MWA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!! I'm calm.
I've joined the anime club at our school, and it's really awesome. we talk about and watch anime and when there are conventions and stuff we go, and we also have parties where we watch anime movies. Currently we're watching "Bleach"; in Japanese with English subs, naturally.
Today sucked, I had to run the mile. Considering the last time I ran it I seriously thought I was going to pass out afterwards, I decided to take it slower this time...a lot slower. Thankfully, no feeling of fainting came to me, though afterwards my entire body went numb...I don't think that's good o.O
Later in biology, I comeletely and totally forgot we had a test and so I hadn't studied at all, but thankfully we only had to know stuff about...around six or seven things that were really easy, so i just hyper-memorized and hopefully got some right, and maybe an extra credit or two. *prays* | | |
| *Deep breath* OMFG!!!!! These past few weeks have been so incredibly hectic! Tests and projects left and right! And I was absent one day so I had two days to do any homework assigned on that day and guess what? I had 36 problems in math for that day but couldn't do it the first night because there were two tests the next day so I had to study and a project that was due the next day, and the second day he gave us SIXTY-FOUR FRICKIN PROBLEMS so I had EIGHTY FRICKIN PROBLEMS to do in ONE NIGHT!!! And the next night he only gave us ten problems! TEN PROBLEMS!!! I FINISHED THEM ALL IN CLASS!!! MATH SUCKS!!!!
On friendlier notes, my friend let me burn off twelve or thirteen of her CDs ^_^ yay! She's so nice! And today was her B-Day so when I got to school she and my other two friends were attacking my locker with sticky notes saying it was her birthday and mine is just a while away and all. Yeah...it was her birthday...so they were putting sticky notes on my locker...if you knew us it would make sense...^_^
Addie: HAPPY B-DAY!!! I'm making you a card tonight since I forgot it was your B-Day today (I'm such a good friend aren't I?).
Kaela: Yeah, so next time you guys want to attack someone's locker with sticky notes, tell me, cuz I have green, white, and orange ones :P. P.S. WRITE MORE OF YOUR STORY!!!

| Hello all! Tomorrow marks the very first day of school. I still haven't adjusted my sleeping patterns and I still have to finish a book assigned to us to read over the summer. It's going to be great (note the sarcasm).
My sister came by again this weekend and made sure I had no time during the day to come on the computer by taking me shopping and to go see movies. She kept me out so much I actually have a blister on my foot and I haven't even checked my e-mail in a week. The good thing about it is that at least now we have edible food in the house (granted I hate cheesecake but she let me get the supermarket's Claim Jumper's chocolate motherload cake and apple pie to make up for it).
We also went to see Sky High. It's a good movie, I reccommend it. We also would have seen The Fantastic Four but it wasn't in theatres anymore.....I also wanted to see The Brothers Grimm but my sis wouldn't let me....so we ended up watching only one movie the entire weekend. Oh well, it was a good movie ^_^.
Today I downloaded about...thirty one Simple Plan songs. I'm going to make an MP3 playlist with only Punk Rock songs on it (or songs that punk rock-ish or whatever). So far I've decided I'm going to have Simple Plan, The Ataris, Good Charlotte, Reliant K, Green Day, Bowling For Soup (they have some damn good songs!), Linkin Park, Blink 182, New Found Glory, Sum 41, MXPX, Alkaline Trio, SR 71, Eve 6, Infinities End, and maybe some others. Now I'm not exactly sure if all of those are punk rock (or punk rock-ish) bands, but I have suspicions and I'm going to check them out to make sure.
